Lake Shore Parade
Our community had thier annual Xmas parade consisting of 4 vehicles. Santa is on the float, a fire truck, a SUV and a van. They go down every street in the neighborhood and stop to give the kids candy canes! The girls couldn't believe the parade was on our little cul-de-sac. As small as it was all the kids on the street (14) were thrilled.

When we lived in Latham, NY they use to do the same thing...except it was just Santa on a firetruck giving out candy. I think it is great for the kids!!!
